A strong contributor recently left our team and I was pleasantly surprised by the appreciation the team lead had for their work and how they took a moment to mention the individuals contributions even though they weren’t present. In contrast, in a startup that I worked at, the team lead would make it a point to trivialize anything the person who left had worked on even if they were an exceptionally strong contributor. Just curious what everyone’s experience is
