I've never went to some academy/university/college and at the moment I don't plan to. TLDR: what are some similar options, online? -- /TLDR now I want to take random courses online without long term commitment (ie. weeks, not years) but also as part of a group/class or whatever, connect with people learning at the same pace. my latest similar (offline) experience in terms of learning & socializing was in the Israeli Defense Forces over a decade ago. I did have some working environments where I learned & socialized but hardly as intense or fun as back then, and I've been freelancing for many years, mostly online. I did participate in (offline) hacker houses which I really enjoyed and they were the closest such experience since, but they were very short - about a week or two, and don't happen too often. I know there are many online academies/whatever, I'm not so experienced with any. but I don't want just a DIY video, there is amazing content on YouTube for that. I want the group part.
