ZTNA tools such as Tailscale, Netbird, and Narrowlink are promoted as more privacy-preserving alternatives to backdoors, but could they also enable backdoor access? These tools allow actors to reach into devices and bypass organizational network security policies. Isn't this a form of a backdoor, even if not called that?
